Each day/session will use common-core aligned activities to help children on the golf course as well as in the classroom. Students will become familiar with the golf swing, golf etiquette, fitness, and more. Along with everyday golf instruction, children will learn concepts such as distance, math conversions, aerodynamics, and laws of physics which are complex but are in constant demonstration throughout a round of golf. An example of this integration may include designing a golf course (math/art) and talking about sustainable ways of providing a service while minimizing the environmental impact (science/environment).

Intro to Golf & Camp: Life Skills Pillar Discussion & Golf/ Synergy Explanation
Children will engage in an open discussion about the “Pillar of The Day” learning precious life skills.
All safety rules and equipment uses are reviewed
Mindfulness is key. This stretch and warm up session will include yoga and some breathing techniques both of which serve as powerful tools in stressful situations on and off the golf course. We will put those safety skills into practice as we review and perfect the SNAG skill. This is where the children will learn the technical side of golf skills and build strong foundations.
Day 1 is a "free swing" and safety instruction day. Students are urged to do what comes naturally as they attempt to hit various targets at varying distances.
Healthy snacks and water will always be provided throughout the day. It is recommended that children pack their own lunch.
